I decided to post an audition   on my blog for a few reasons. The main reason I'm posting the audition is I want individuals to know if you believe in yourself anything is possible. I would've never been able to do this years ago when anorexia controlled my life. Anorexia consumed me to the point of which it was the only thing I knew to identify myself with.

Today I've learned I'm so much more then what I limited myself to during my 15 year struggle with eating disorders. I'm a mother, wife, author, actress and entrepreneur.

I know now recovery consists of many different components. I wouldn't be where I am today without the love of my family, friends, husband, daughter and above all god! God's will for your life is much greater then your own. You must be open to it!!!!

4 Generations of Eating Disorders! Let's reach out to family members and support them through recovery!

If you think eating disorders can't happen in your family take a look. Our family has four generations of eating disorders. Please support individuals struggling and get them help before it's too late!

For those of you who have followed my blog about my journey through recovery know I'm a success story!

But...as you watch the video, of my only remaining sibling; you will notice the path to recovery can be long and difficult. What you will witness is not only a cry for help but, one of the thousands of people struggling on a daily basis.

Please take a moment and share my blog with someone you know who is struggling with body image, self esteem and/or an eating disorder. Recovery won't happen without the support of others.
